Atlantic Article and David Foster Wallace speech

http://www.theatlantic.com/education/archive/2014/12/blacklivesmatter-at-christian-colleges/383782/#

An interesting read from the Atlantic on Evangelicals role in social activism regarding Ferguson, Eric Garner, etc.

Also, a commencement speech by David Foster Wallace at Kenyon College.  It's insightful for postmodern thought but also really entertaining.

Tim Michin is a comedian who is a cross between Russel Brand and Ben Folds. He's a new athiest in the vain of Hitchens. Check out some of his other stuff, very interesting. http://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=tim+minchin&FORM=HDRSC3#view=detail&mid=90A340AADDE4A07FCA8B90A340AADDE4A07FCA8B

Post-Modern Essays by David Foster Wallace

Here are two fantastic pieces by David Foster Wallace, one of the premier contemporary post-modern authors. The first is an essay called E Unibus Plurum about the culture of television and entertainment, and the second is a commencement address that he gave at Kenyon College. The essay is long (about 40 pages) but more than worth it, and the speech is a really quick read.

Enjoy!
